Dutchman dies right after hitting rocks when jumping from Majorca cliff

The international affairs ministry has verified that a Dutch vacationer was killed following he jumped off a cliff although on holiday break on the vacation island of Majorca.

The 31-calendar year-old from Arnhem was killed in a ‘sad accident’, the ministry explained to news internet site Nu.nl on Friday.

The person experienced climbed a 25-metre large cliff on one of the offshore Malgrats islands with the aim of jumping into the sea, but hits rocks as a substitute.

The incident was filmed by his associate who was in their rented boat alongside with their baby, local media noted.

The movie demonstrates how the man jumped with flailing arms, but strike the rock just ahead of he went into the sea. His human body was afterwards located by rescue personnel.
